Role - Label Coordinator
Terms - Casual, 3 days/week

About Trackwork - Trackwork is an independent record label & platform based in Sydney, on Gadigal land.
Overview of the role - Trackwork is looking for a new member of our team to assist in day-to-day operations as well as on projects, new releases and events. This is an ideal position for someone with a passion for music who's looking to get into the biz. Our ethos is creating opportunities for artists by artists. We make meaningful work through encouraging proactivity and creative thinking across the board and want Trackwork to be a place where you can develop your goals alongside our many projects.
Responsibilities
- Work with TW Director and Label Manager to provide administrative support in the day-to-day running of Trackwork as well as the planning and execution of projects, events and artist releases.
- Be the first point of Trackwork contact via email for incoming enquiries.
- Build great relationships with Trackwork artists, our freelance collaborators and key stakeholders such as booking agents, publicists, radio and media platforms.
- Copywriting support for content release campaigns, grants, newsletters and artist files.
- Attend team meetings and participate in operational and creative discussions.
- Assist in maintaining the TW backend i.e updating calendars, important folders
- Come to the occasional show or event to be on the ground and support our artists :)
Selection Criteria
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Comfortable with working in a fast-paced office environment
- Problem solver - must have a proactive and can-do approach to tasks
- Passionate about forward thinking music, art and community
- A self-starter who is open to expanding their knowledge and skills.
Desirable
- A desire to grow with Trackwork
- Experience in using Google Drive, Sheets, Docs and related programs.
- Knowledge of content editing software such as Capcut, FCPX, Photoshop or similar
- Experience working within a team environment, music or art industries
Workflow
- Casual employment, with scope to grow into an ongoing position.
- Work at the TW office 3 days a week
- 12 hours a week guaranteed at $25/hr (+super) with a view to increase hours and pay as the business grows.
- Immediate start desired
